In 2006 Friends of the colo completed the primary treatment of black willows along the river and its tributaries to the Hawkesbury river including the side lagoons. We now monitor the river on a bi-annual cycle to ensure we see any seedlings growing into view. during the February 2010 monitoring trip we treated 16 black willows in this section and so this trip was to check they died
