Whitewater paddle treating black willows for the Upper Murrumbidgee Landcare Committee (UMLC). Willows were mapped along this section of river in 2006-2007 and this activity is to finish the treatment of the Black willows for the UMLC.
This project is funded by the NSW Environmental Trust through a grant received by the UMLC. This project is also part of a larger project managed by the Upper Murrumbidgee Catchment Coordinating Committee under an Australian Government Defeating the Weeds Menace Grant to update the Willows Management Strategy for the Upper Murrumbidgee.
This is a grade two section of river with one or two grade three and four rapids. We will use river guides if the river is above certain levels
