18 January 2009 Willow Warriors mapped and treated about 110 black willows along the MacDonald River between the St Alban Cemetery and Wrights Creek. The river was very low and so the group had to walk some sections of the river dragging their canoes. They had to stop treating about a kilometer upstream of Wrights Creek and so this section will be treated during the next activity.
