This project has started with treating galleries of Black Willows seedlings at Yarrumundi. Contractors have been treating woody weeds including Black Willows between Penrith and Yarramundi and Willow Warriors will expand our treatment work along this section as training for new volunteers going on trips.

When time permitts the group will prepare a Black Willows Management Plan for the Catchment to ensure there are processes in place to collect data on the location of Black Willows, treat these willows and monitor the sites in the future.
