Cecil Hoskins Reserve - Monitoring the islands for Grey Sallow Willow and Blackberry 2011 August 13 PDF Print E-mail

Treated the large number of seedlings and cut down almost all of the dead grey sallow willows. Some had already fallen and damaged or bent over the native seedlings. There was not enough space to store the dead willows on the island so I tossed most or it into the water. I also cut and painted blackberry clearing it way from the natives. this will not kill the blackberry
